After driving through three downpours on the way to their small town, I wasn't sure this family's Maternity + Family Portrait Session was even going to happen! But the rain stopped just as I parked the car, and even though the town's summer carnival was taking place just 100 feet away, and the storm clouds remained, we ended up having such a fun time taking their portraits :) Melissa is stunning and her family is incredibly sweet. What is beautiful? Generosity, Thoughtfulness, Graciousness.... This young women possesses each of these virtues. Capturing her spirit to reflect these very things and more was an absolute joy. I love the way they both look at their son. I love my job. Below, are just a few of my favorite images from the day.
